I've downloaded the Photoshop SDK and have been playing around with the Photoshop Images sample app for Android that remotely displays your PS document on you device. Since this project was built for 2.2, I've tried upgrading it via command line to target API 19. However, after doing so, I get networking on main thread errors when trying to connect to my computer.
I've tried making an AsyncTask to run the tryToConnect() call in the background thread. This works most of the time, but I still occasionally get the same networking error. It does not appear when using the original unmodified project.
I'm really bad with this networking stuff and don't understand why this error is occurring in the first place. The MessageProcessor class extends Thread, so how could it even be running on the main thread?
Has anyone encountered this problem before, or can see a solution?
